Brisbane: Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference Held

Eight practitioners spoke about how they adhered to Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance at work, in their daily lives, and while doing projects that validate Dafa. They also talked about how they overcome difficulties, believe in Master and in Dafa, eliminate human attachments, and tell people about the ongoing persecution of Falun Dafa. Those who attended said they were encouraged and touched.

 

Persisting in Memorising the Fa

Joy shared how much she benefited from memorising the Fa over the past four years. Her body felt cleansed, her xinxing improved, and she had a breakthrough in clarifying the truth. She experienced true happiness and heartfelt joy when she memorised the Fa each morning. She felt at ease and peaceful.

She also noticed that she was more efficient when she clarified the truth. She did not need to say too much about the persecution before people withdrew from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organisations. She soon realised it was due to her persistence in memorising the Fa.

She enlightened to the fact that her words became more powerful as she memorised the Fa. They were able to eliminate all the negative thoughts in other people’s minds and their attitude changed dramatically. It was easier for her to help people withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organisations.

She said, “This precious Dafa can never be measured in terms of value. I will memorise Zhuan Falun, the main text of Falun Dafa, as long as I firmly walk on this cultivation path.”

 

Calling China for Ten Years

Helen from Brisbane talked about her experiences while making phone calls to China to tell people about Falun Dafa and help them withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organisations for the past 10 years. Helen optimises her time while doing housework and preparing dinner.

She said, “I get an hour lunch break at work and during that time I bring my laptop and find a quiet place to make phone calls. I also bring my phone and make phone calls when I travel to other cities to attend Fa conferences or Dafa activities.

“A man who answered my call one time kept saying that the CCP was good. He sounded like a kind person who’d been blinded by CCP’s lies and deceit. I patiently explained why he should quit the CCP and its affiliated organisations and told him the truth about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa. He agreed to quit the CCP and its affiliated organisations 20 minutes later. Then, a practitioner on another line received feedback, saying that that man was going through a divorce and was in a bad mood. He was able sense my compassionate thoughts and wanted to know more about Falun Dafa.”

Helen also worked with another practitioner to record greeting messages. Practitioners prepare a script that warms the hearts of those who hear it. There is a great chance that people in China will pick up the phone after hearing these prerecorded greetings. Sometimes, several people quit the CCP and its affiliated organisations during one phone call. Some people gave positive feedback and some even asked to be added to the phone call group.

While talking to people, Helen says she often feels a warm flow of energy from deep within. She knows it’s her compassion cultivated by practicing Dafa that enables sentient beings to learn the truth and make the right choice for themselves. She is truly happy for them from the bottom of her heart.

She said, “Master enlightened me to make phone calls 10 years ago. I never once thought to stop making those calls because I know this is what Master arranged for me. This is my cultivation path, the path that allows me to fulfill my historic mission. As a Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple, I know it’s my responsibility to make these phone calls. I cannot give up.”

 

Fulfilling My Historic Mission and Teaching Young Practitioners Well

In February, 2023, several parents established a class on Sundays to teach young Dafa disciples about traditional Chinese culture. Emma was in charge of the teaching materials. She was aware that young people born outside China don’t know Chinese or Chinese traditional culture very well. Learning Chinese and being able to understand the meaning of Dafa books is a major concern for many parents.

Emma encountered many tribulations right from the beginning. She was not a teacher by profession and, since she was raised in China, she was influenced by the CCP culture. Also, she’d learned the simplified Chinese characters instead of the traditional characters. “How can I enable these young Dafa disciples to truly benefit from this class? I felt deep down inside that this was my historic mission.”

Emma decided to teach the children to read and study Zhuan Falun. She enlightened, “These children are very pure. They do not have any human notions so it would be best for them to memorise Dafa right from the beginning.”

During one class she told them, “Zhuan Falun is a very precious book, and we should memorise it.” “Although they were very mischievous, they have good inborn quality. I can feel the miracles of Dafa seeing these young children memorise the Fa attentively. I know that Dafa can change everything. As long as the children have the Fa in their hearts, they will have a future.”

After nearly a year of learning about cultivation, the children’s cultivation state is improving. Their Chinese also improved drastically. She enlightened, “Teaching these Dafa disciples well plays a huge role in shaping their notions about traditional values. I hope more young practitioners can benefit from this.”

Both new and veteran Falun Dafa practitioners said they benefited tremendously. Each speaker’s cultivation sharing encouraged attendees to be more diligent in their cultivation.
