Falun Gong’s Divine Land Marching Band and waist drummers performed in the 29th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Toronto on March 13. CP25 TV station aired the parade, while 500,000 spectators watched it live.
This year marked the 10th consecutive year that Falun Gong practitioners have participated in this popular parade. The band played The Maple Leaf Forever as well as other well-known songs and compositions by Falun Gong practitioners.
Among the parade spectators were many Chinese tourists and visiting students, as well as local residents originally from China. Many of them were happy to have an opportunity to quit the communist party with Falun Gong practitioners’ help.
