On July
6, 2006, the independent investigation group, consisting of former director of
the Asian Pacific Division of Canada’s Foreign Affairs Ministry and member
of Parliament, Mr. David Kilgour, and human rights lawyer, David Matas, released
an independent report, concluding that the allegations that vital organs are being
seized from Falun Gong practitioners in China are true. On the same day, the Chinese
Embassy to Canada issued a statement denying what was said in the report and launched
personal attact on the report’s authors and Falun Gong. On July 7, the investigation
group issued written response to the Embassy’s statement. See below for the
PDF file.
