CIPFG Will Completely Investigate the Truth and End the Persecution of Falun Gong As Soon As Possible

Spokesperson for the CIPFG: All perpetrators
who have been participating in the persecution will be put on trial as soon as
the truth is revealed to the world.

Fourteen years ago, Mr. Li Hongzhi made public
Falun Gong from China on May 13, 1992. As a result over a hundred million people
around the world obtained improvement in their bodies and minds. However, out
of jealousy, on July 20, 1999, the CCP and Jiang Zemin launched the brutal and
vicious persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Recently, the crimes of the CCP
in harvesting organs from live Falun Gong practitioners before cremating their
bodies to destroy the evidence in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp have been further
exposed.

After this exposure, the CCP did not respond to overseas queries
for three weeks, but held urgent meetings, deployed manpower and took action to
cover up its crimes at home. Three weeks later, on March 28, 2006, the spokesman
for the CCP’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qin Gang, denied the Sujiatun
incident at a press conference, and publicly invited the international media to
pay an on-site visit. On April 4, the Falun Dafa Association and Minghui Website
initiated the “Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China
(CIPFG)” (shortened as “Coalition to Investigate the Persecution”). In order to
end the brutal persecution that has lasted almost seven years as early as possible,
they call on and invite all related international organizations, state agencies
and media to join them in going to China to conduct an independent, direct, interference-free
investigation to collect evidence, and completely search for the truth of the
persecution of Falun Gong, including all the prisons, forced labor Camps, detention
centers and secret concentration camps where Falun Gong practitioners have been
illegally detained and persecuted.

Subsequently, investigators from Australia,
Europe and United States applied to Chinese Embassies or Consulates in their respective
areas for visas to enter China to investigate the persecution of Falun Gong, but
all their applications were rejected. At present, there is every indication that
the CCP is hastily destroying evidence. Then what is the next plan for the CIPFG?
To end the persecution of Falun Gong as soon as possible, what should the righteous
people inside and outside China do? With these questions in mind, the reporter
interviewed a spokesperson of CIPFG, Dr. Sherry (Xuerong) Zhang.

Dr. Zhang
stated that investigators of the CIPFG applied for visa three times and were denied,
which exposes the lies of the CCP and enables people to see its scoundrel nature.
However, this was just the beginning of the action of the CIPFG. During this period
of time, the CIPFG is contacting those individuals both here and abroad who responded
and expressed support for or were willing to join this coalition, and people from
the international community, including government departments of some countries,
offering the necessary help to anyone in need. CIPFG is making efforts together
with its supporters to launch the investigation in the hope of preventing by completely
probing the CCP’s removing organs from live Falun Gong practitioners. She
believes that international community will increasingly exert pressure on the
CCP. The CIPFG will continually strive for the right to investigate in China,
and in the meantime, keep collecting all the evidence of the CCP’s persecution
of Falun Gong.

Dr. Zhang called on all those who volunteer to help and join
the investigation to collect all the evidence about the policemen, wardens, 610
Office
personnel and other related officials who were involved in persecuting
Falun Gong practitioners.

Dr. Zhang pointed out: “All perpetrators who have
been participating in the persecution will be put on trial as soon as the truth
is revealed to the world. We will bring all those perpetrators to justice.”

Below is the interview.

Reporter: Dr. Zhang, what’s the next step the
CIPFG will take?

Dr. Zhang: First of all, the CIPGF investigators have applied
for visas to China three times, and this was just a start. The fact that the CCP
denied the visas revealed it was lying (about welcoming investigators to China),
and helped people to see more clearly the CCP’s unscrupulous nature. The
Chinese people have the spirit of perseverance, and no one can stop us from finding
out the truth of the persecution.

Reporter: Can you be more specific?

Dr. Zhang: Many people in and outside China, and the international community have
responded to us, either to express their support or to join the investigation
coalition. We have been contacting them, including some countries’ government
departments. We also are providing the necessary assistance to begin the investigation
with joint efforts, to stop and to thoroughly investigate the atrocities of the
CCP’s harvesting live Falun Gong practitioners’ organs. I believe the
international community will exert more and more pressure on the CCP [on this
issue]. The investigation coalition will continue to strive for the right to go
to China for an investigation. Meanwhile, we will continue to collect all the
evidence on how the CCP persecutes Falun Gong.

Specifically outside China,
we will continue to contact the relevant international organizations, governments
and officials, media, and individuals to participate in the joint efforts of the
investigation coalition. Our investigators will continue to strive for the right
to enter China. In addition, no matter when we will be able to go to China, we
will waste no time. Both investigators in China and outside China will collect
the information and evidence on how the CCP utilizes facilities including labor
camps, prisons, detention centers, and concentration camps to persecute Falun
Gong. This is to take measures to thoroughly change the situation, and to fundamentally
stop the national crime of regarding Falun Gong practitioners as a source of organs.

Volunteers in China, on the other hand, will take advantage of the fact that
they are in China, and collect information including lists of the policemen, guards
in prisons, staff in 610 Offices and relevant personnel who participated in the
persecution of Falun Gong practitioners before the investigation team goes to
China.

We will save and make good use of all the information and evidence
collected, depending on the circumstances. In the future, when the whole truth
has come out, all the people who participated in persecution of Falun Gong will
be brought to justice and no one will escape justice.

I would like to especially
point out that the CCP will include those medical staff who participated in the
organ harvesting surgeries on its list of people to kill in order to cover up
its crime, even though they have assisted the CCP to commit the crimes. So we
hope they will contact us as soon as possible, expose the crimes and atone their
crime with good deeds. We will warrant their safety. Otherwise, when the day comes
that all the truth comes out, they will also be brought to trial.

Reporter:
Dr. Zhang, could you talk about the responses from different people after the
establishment of the CIPFG?

Dr. Zhang: After the establishment of the CIPFG,
we received many leads from telephone calls. At the same time, more people who
uphold justice in every realm participated in the activities against the persecution.

In Mainland China, when the evil people and evil policemen heard about the
establishment of the CIPFG, they started to find local Falun Gong practitioners
to sound them out and talk, hoping the practitioners will not point them out.

Some other evil people and evil policemen started to think: Falun Gong practitioners
will never change their minds before their goal is reached. This time, their goal
is very clear. Once the investigation group enters China, what could we do?

Two lawyers and congressmen in Canada have already declared the beginning of the
investigation. Other governments and congressmen continually ask the CIPFG about
its plans and progress.

Reporter: Could you tell us, until now, what people
directly support, or participate in, or suggest helping CIPFG?

Dr. Zhang:
In addition to Falun Gong practitioners, there are state agencies, organizations,
media and governmental officials from Asia, Australia, America, Canada and so
on. There are also people from China, including renowned human rights lawyer Gao
Zhisheng, Professor Jiao Guobiao, lawyer Yang Zaixin, Professor Sun Wenguang,
and so on. Lawyer Gao has already carried out some investigations aiming at the
persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP.

In response to the call from the CIPFG,
on May 8, the former chairman of the Canadian Congress Human Rights Committee,
former Chief of the Asian and Pacific Section David Kilgour, and famous international
human rights lawyer David Matas declared their intention to lead the investigation
in Canada regarding the CCP’s harvesting organs from live Falun Gong practitioners.
Seven members of Parliament from three main parties in Canada came in person to
offer support. Chair of the Conservative Party caucus, MP Rahim Jaffer expressed
his support for the investigation.

Reporter: The CCP started to persecute
Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, and it has lasted about seven years up to the present.
Why have we just established the CIPFG now?

Dr. Zhang: As you know, the secret
death camps set up by the CCP were revealed recently. Later, evidence from many
channels showed that in order to destroy the evidence of the crime, the CCP is
slaughtering the victims and witnesses. This emergency led the Falun Dafa Institute
and Minghui website to establish the CIPFG to stop the slaughter of more Falun
Gong practitioners.

At the same time, this is our response to the invitation
of the spokesman Qin Gang from China’s Diplomatic Department. As we know,
after the exposure of the Sujiatun Death Camp, the CCP kept silent for three weeks.
On March 28, 2006, CCP spokesman Qin Gang at the Diplomatic Department denied
the existence of the death camps at a press conference and publicly invited the
international media to investigate in Mainland China.

Reporter: The CCP denied
the existence of Sujiatun concentration camp. Some American officials visited
there and did not find any evidence of the concentration camp. How do you view
this issue?

Dr. Zhang: First of all, not until after three weeks’ silence
did the CCP officially respond to the claims of live organ harvesting of Falun
Gong practitioners in the Sujiatun concentration camp. This was an offer made
by the CCP only after it destroyed all the evidence. The visit by the U.S. officials
was a guided tour by CCP officials. Such a guided tour could never lead to evidence.

In fact, shortly after the exposure of the Sujiatun concentration camp, there
was a witness who stated that the CCP was capable of using military trains to
completely transfer 5000 victims in one day.

The CCP has consistently been
lying and deceiving the world, so its denial has been something we expected. The
CCP has never admitted the crimes it has committed in history. Over the past seven
years, the CCP has been persecuting Falun Gong and it has made every effort to
conceal the facts about the persecution.

When SARS emerged in China and the
international community went to China to conduct an investigation, the CCP put
the SARS patients in vehicles and drove them around on the streets. As a result,
the investigators did not see any SARS patients in the hospitals.

In addition,
under international pressure, the CCP once invited the international media to
visit the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, which is notorious for persecuting Falun
Gong. Some foreign media wrote skeptically that they saw newly painted walls and
prisoners wearing clothes that looked brand new.

History is repeating itself.
As is well-known to all, the Nazi’s killed millions of Jews in concentration
camps. However, in June 1944, after the Nazi concentration camps were exposed,
the Nazi’s also invited the international Red Cross to visit the Theresienstadt
concentration camp in Germany. The investigation of the Red Cross concluded that
the concentration camps were very beautiful, with flowers everywhere, gardens
and newly painted buildings.

Reporter: For quite a few years, Falun
Gong practitioners have been appealing to the international community for help
in stopping the persecution. However, this time, CIPFG is led by the Falun Dafa
Association and Minghui website. Could you comment on why this is so?

Dr.
Zhang: This is because Falun Gong practitioners and the Minghui website hold a
large amount of materials and evidence regarding the persecution. Also, we know
where the places are that the persecution takes place. The CCP cannot conceal
its atrocities from us.

As you know, in World War II, if a group that went
to investigate the charge of Nazi’s killing Jews had been Jewish, what would
the result have been? It would have been difficult for the Nazis to conceal their
crimes. Consequently, the number of people killed could have been reduced.

Moreover, I would like to give an example. When somebody is murdered or raped,
who would be the most motivated people to file the case with the police for an
investigation? Is it the police? Detectives? Lawyers? Or witnesses or the local
governments? No. It is certainly the family members of the victims, because they
are the people who are the most eager to investigate the case completely from
the inside out and punish the perpetrators as they deserve.

Therefore, the
Falun Dafa Association and the Minghui website formed CIPFG and invited related
international organizations, state agencies, media and individuals to join or
assist the CIPFG in various ways, so that an independent, direct and uninterrupted
investigation can be conducted and the truth about the CCP’s persecution
of Falun Gong can be exposed to the public, which would put an early end to the
7-year-long brutal persecution.
