Hornsby & Upper North Shore Advocate (Australia): Falun Gong Demonstration

HORNSBY resident Fuying Li, who left China in 2000 after harassment by police for practising Falun Gong, continues to protest for the rights of practitioners in her homeland.

The 78-year-old was joined by her 79-year-old husband Shou Yan and son Brian Yan in Hornsby Mall last week.

Falun Gong is a meditation and exercise-based practice designed to improve the mind and body.

Practitioners in Australia accuse the Chinese government of murdering Falun Gong followers and harvesting their organs in remote ”concentration camps”.
