I went to see the movie “I, Robot” with my girlfriend last night, and although I wasn’t expecting it to be a great film, I was suprised that it gave me some insights into why we human beings are so unique and precious.

Australian Foreign Minister Alexander Downer will go to Beijing on August 16, 2004 for a two-day state-visit. Practitioners called upon the Foreign Minister to openly condemn the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong in China during his state visit to China. They hoped that the Minister would request China to release those Australian residents’ family members.

Like hundreds of thousands – perhaps millions – of others in China, Zhu was detained by Chinese authorities and sent to brainwashing classes in order to force her to renounce Falun Gong. She was held at the Pi County Brainwashing Center in Xinjin County, Sichuan Province.

This lawsuit has a special historical significance. Chen Zhili’s appearing before the court aroused a strong stir among Chinese officials inside and outside China. This allows those officials to realize that no matter who they are, no matter where and when, they would not be able to free themselves from the crimes they have committed in the persecution of Falun Gong.

Mr. Zhang Zhong, a Falun Dafa practitioner in Daqing. He built a cable TV signal interceptor to expose the crimes committed by Jiang’s regime in persecuting practitioners and deceiving people. In mid-April 2002, he was arrested by Daqing police, and in December he was sentenced to 12 years in prison and sent to the 3rd prison area of Daqing Jail.
