When people are immoral, they have no scruples about lying to achieve their selfish ends. Often, such people will go to any extent in disguising their lies to avoid being exposed – as the saying goes, “lies breed more lies.”
We ask that you intercede to stop this deportation and to allow consideration of Ms Lin’s application for asylum. We trust you will find our request is clearly reasonable and one to which you can accede in good conscience once the ramifications are truly known to you.

She was arrested when she went to Tiananmen Square alone. Because she was registered as living in Shiyan, she was immediately sent to Xiajiadian Labour Camp (a rehabilitation centre) in Shiyan, Wuhan City.
