Once upon a time, in a far away pond lived a little seed named Lily. She was shy and timid, but enjoyed playing with all of her friends. Lily longed to see the beauty of this light, but just could not rise above the depths and murky waters of the pond.
It is that ability to stay pristine and beautiful despite being surrounded by impurities that led the Falun Gong to choose it as a symbol of hope, especially for the children of Falun Gong practitioners.
Although you may be aware that many adult practitioners of Falun Gong have been persecuted, tortured and killed under the supervision and instruction of the Jiang regime, you may not be aware that in China at the moment many of the children who are practitioners themselves or are related to practitioners are also experiencing similar persecution.
Numerous examples have shown that Jiang and his followers have contravened the basic human rights of these children, including their right to survival, their right to freedom from abuse and malnutrition, their right to education, their right to freedom from discrimination and their right to participate fully in family, cultural and social life in their society.

Hello little friends, my name is little Fadu. Before I was born, my daddy told my mommy, “No matter whether the baby is a boy or a girl, the baby comes for Dafa [the Great Law]. Dafa will save him or her. Let’s call the baby ‘Fadu’.
The “Petals of Peace” is a global event initiated last October in Australia. Its purpose is to encourage children all over the world to be closely connected and to promote tolerance and mutual understandings, as well as to improve creativity.
In a quiet corner at the United Nations building in Geneva where the annual Human Rights Commission meeting is taking place, sunlight brightened the marble floor through the large window. Little Fadu, who turned four years old on April 3rd, was excitedly watching a pretty peacock just outside of the window.
The Sunshine Plaza came alive with song and dance, as the ‘Petals of Peace’ Cultural Event. This event allowed hundreds of people to witness the beauty of Falun Dafa through our presentation and heartfelt message.
During the opening of a new Library Building, street development and centenary celebration in Nerang, Petals of Peace was shared with many in the community through making lotus flowers for awareness and peace.
