I am counsel to the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (“WOIPFG”). WOIPFG is dedicated to protecting the human rights of Falun Gong practitioners around the world, to investigate and expose violations of those rights, and to restore and uphold justice in society.
On Wednesday, over 50 practitioners gathered at 11:30am at the gate of the Villawood detention
centre, where the Wang’s were being held. The gathering was very peaceful and
orderly, despite rain falling on and off throughout the event.
The Flagstaff Gardens is the oldest and one of many Falun Dafa practice sites in Melbourne. Every Sunday since 1998, people have been gathering to practise together the five sets of tranquil exercises.
