ABC Radio: Falun Gong marks 10 years of being banned in China 25-11-2009

Falun Gong practitioners are marking ten years since China banned the spiritual and exercise movement as a national security threat, in the wake of a mass demonstration by adherents in Beijing in April of 1999. Thousands have since been detained, tortured and killed. Advocates say the bodies of dead Falun Gong practitioners remain the key source of organs for the booming domestic trade in illegal transplants. Full story

Sydney: Practitioners Hold a Candlelight Vigil to Mourn Fellow Practitioners and Call for an End to the Persecution (Photos) 27-07-2008

On the evening of July 20 2008, Australian Falun Gong practitioners in Sydney arrived at Town Hall and quietly ignited candles. They sat in the gentle breeze, in mourning for fellow practitioners who have been persecuted to death by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for upholding the principals of Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance. Sydney: Supporters Hold up Display Boards and Join Practitioners' Efforts Against the Persecution (Photos) 27-07-2008

July 20, 2008 marks the ninth year that Falun Gong practitioners have worked against the persecution. Practitioners have remained uncompromising and persevering in clarifying the truth and calling for an end to the persecution. Support Falun Gong Practitioners’ Lawsuits Against Genocide, Torture and Crimes Against Humanity 06-06-2008

Over 50 lawsuits have been filed against Chinese Communist Party officials for crimes of torture, genocide and crimes against humanity, with the assistance of over 70 lawyers across 30 countries. Lawsuits against former Chinese communist leader Jiang Zemin were filed in 15 countries. Full story

Brisbane Practitioners Call for an End of the Persecution of Falun Gong on the Ninth Anniversary of April 25 Appeal (Photo) 26-04-2008

On the afternoon of April 25, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners in Queensland held an activity to commemorate the ninth anniversary of April 25 appeal in front of Chinese Consulate in downtown Brisbane.
