Introducing Falun Gong to Schools in Batam Island, Indonesia

Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) practitioners recently introduced this ancient Chinese cultivation practice to schools in Batam Island, Indonesia to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Falun Gong’s public introduction.

They held workshops in March 2017 at the two most popular high schools in Batam: Kartini High School and Teladan High School. About 600 people including principal, teachers, staff and students participated in the workshop at Kartini High School. Over 1,100 people participated in the workshop at Teladan High School.

Besides demonstrating the exercises, the practitioners shared their experiences in practicing Falun Gong. They also discussed the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong in China.
