Falun Gong practitioner and artist Zhang Cuiying is suing former Chinese president Jiang Zemin for damages in the New South Wales Supreme Court after allegedly being tortured in a Chinese prison from March to November 2000.

Hearing brought forward for Chinese torture lawsuit

A hearing will be held in the Supreme Court of NSW in relation to the lawsuit filed by Sydney resident and Falun Gong practitioner, Ms Zhang Cuiying, against former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin and the 610 Office for torture she suffered in China because of her belief.
