After several weeks of planning, Falun Gong practitioners, in conjunction with the Australia Chinese Cultural & Art Association Inc, held the grand opening of the Uncompromising Courage art exhibition at the Royal Queensland Arts Society on the Gold Coast.

Australia Human Rights lawyer Bernard Collaery has filed a lawsuit in the Canberra Federal Court against Foreign Minister Alexander Downer, for abusing the privilege of his position by continually issuing certificates for the last three years to restrain Falun Gong practitioners from displaying banners and playing exercise music in front of the Chinese Embassy in Canberra, the nation’s capital.

According to Chen, Chinese leaders have been forming personal, close relationships with top Australian officials of the last several years. So close that the Chinese government has been receiving legal assistance from the Australian government in fighting off a torture law suit from an Australian citizen who was imprisoned on a return trip to China, and says she was subjected to persecution because of her belief in Falun Gong.
