At 11:30am, December 31, 2003, more than a hundred people joined a press conference in front of the Sydney Chinese Consulate to listen to the tragic incident of Liu Chengjun, a Falun Gong practitioner, who was tortured to death on 26 December 2003 in prison in Jilin province.
A Canadian western Falun Gong practitioner recently wrote a letter to the Chinese people living in his apartment building to clarify the truth about Falun Gong.
Falun Gong practitioner Liu Chengjun from the city of Changchun is one of the
practitioners responsible for tapping into the local television network to broadcast
the truth of the persecution against Falun Gong on March 5th, 2002, an event that
shocked the world.
After enduring cruel torture in prison for one year and nine
months, Liu Chengjun passed away at the Jilin University Sino-Japanese Friendship
Hospital at 4 a.m. on December 26, 2003. On the same day, the Jilin Prison gathered
large groups of police and forcibly cremated the body at 11 a.m. The cremation
was done without an autopsy and against the family’s wishes.
After 21 months of torture and abuse, one of the men who broadcast programs over China’s state-run airwaves exposing the systematic cover-up of atrocities against Falun Gong practitioners died Friday morning in police custody.
Greetings, Falun Gong practitioners. I am a college student. I am very glad to have the opportunity to communicate with you. I am glad that you let me know the truth about Falun Gong; but I am shocked by this tragedy happening in the 21st century.
On the morning of December 26, 2003, the Korean Falun Dafa Association held a press conference in the Plaza Hotel of Seoul and announced that the Seoul Local Court had formally accepted the Genocide Lawsuit against Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan.
In fact, the reason why the Melbourne City Council gave a green light to Falun Gong’s request to join the parade all the way until making a 180-degree change by shutting out the group is obvious. Jiang’s group is villainous in its persecution against Falun Gong and has extended its claws abroad.
On December 21, 2003, Falun Dafa practitioners from Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast and other areas in Brisbane went to a nursing home in the suburbs to have a party with the elderly people who live there. Practitioners performed songs and dances, and demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises.
As we have learned from history, a dictator who deceives and cruelly harms his people will never be able to escape the responsibility for his crimes.
